~Monthly Mantra~ “Date Yourself”
“Empowering women to live their lives inward- outward!”
A mantra is a word or sound that serves as a focal point for certain types of meditation. In certain religious groups, a mantra is used to achieve spiritual transformation. In psychology, mantras may be used to achieve a hypnotic trance, or simply to quickly reach a point of deep relaxation.

Why is such an event so important…
Women are fire engines by nature. We have the ability to maintain a job and a household, with or without support. However, we tend to get so wrapped up in the day to day routine that we forget to treat ourselves. We forget to make time for ourselves because of our commitments to others.
This event is a night for women to remember to celebrate themselves. Oftentimes we wait to be treated. However, we must remember that if you want be treated like queen sometimes you have to learn to “date yourself.”
It is wonderful to have a special person in your life to:
Take you on a date
Buy you nice things
Show you a good time
Make you feel special
Show you that they appreciate you for you…
Yes- these things are great! This is not an event to bash men! It is an event to help women realize that you don’t have to depend on another person to make you feel special, or show you a great time (even if you’re married). Happiness starts within!
The women in my group are from St. Louis, MO. However, women all around the world are encouraged to do the same. There is no commitment! You don’t have to take time out to read a book, or host a book club, or prepare dinner. It doesn’t matter if you’re married, dating, or single.
Every month, choose a different location for dinner and drinks and treat yourself for all your hard work and dedication to your family. When the night is over…. DONE! It’s back to being superwoman until next time!
It’s a time for socialites to get together and unwind while enjoying dinner and drinks amongst good company.
We share stories about everything… work, family, relationships, and life.
It’s a night of fun, laughter, great advice and awesome stories.
This is an event for women who realize that the key to happiness and success starts within!

Dinner topics that we discussed- Tell us what you think about…
During dinner at Tani Sushi Bistro there were many topics discussed...
Celebrity Crushes- we all have at least one! Some of the top picks in the group included Jay-Z and T.I. Who are your top picks and why?
Reality T.V. shows- Are the women on reality t.v. shows portrayed in the best light? Do they give women in general a bad reputation? From housewives to basketball wives, there is so much bickering and fighting. Are these the kinds of women that we want our young girls to look up to? Is this really how women behave in general?
